Upper House Farm Cottages are located in an extremely peaceful little village surrounded by the beautiful Shropshire countryside. Just a ten minutes’ walk from our cottages and you can be in Loton Hall Deer Park, where you will not only be able to see the native deer, but will also be able to admire the view as you follow the footpath through the remains of a wartime military camp. Another popular walk is up to ‘Rodney’s Pillar’, a memorial to Admiral Rodney who found fame in the 1780’s, it is a steep climb, but the view from the top can only be described as spectacular!

Just over a mile away is our local pub/restaurant called ‘The Old Hand and Diamond’, which has won almost universal praise from our guests over the years, three miles in the other direction is Saffron Cottage, an Indian restaurant/take away which is also recommended. Shrewsbury is only eight miles away, providing a full range of places to eat out.
