Beautiful, well appointed with everything we needed for a week away from it all & surprisingly spacious for a 1 bedroomed cottage. It had a fabulous sun trap of a back garden, the hot tub was amazing & we used it almost every day & also enjoyed collecting fresh eggs for breakfast from their chickens. We had originally booked to stay in April / May 2020 but COVID put paid to those plans & the owners were very accommodating in letting us postpone for 12 months, using our original deposit. We enjoyed it so much we are hoping to return to the largest cottage with extended family. Thank you for a lovely stay, it was well worth waiting for & we would definitely recommend.

There is too much to write about this wonderful holiday accommodation, we had everything we wanted, and more besides. The owners of the Farm and Barns are amazing, helpful without being intrusive, and take great pride in offering guests a great holiday. Big ticks for the hot-tub/patio area, the spacious accommodation, en-suite bedrooms, the addition of an Alexa system – something we have never experienced in a holiday home before…. Not to mention the friendly and welcoming animals – we will definitely be back.

We have just returned from a week long stay at The Cart House. The cottage has everything you need and the setting is wonderful. The courtyard is a great sun trap and secluded, and we thoroughly enjoyed the jacuzzi. The location is very central for great days out. We had a truly 5 star time and hope to be back in the near future. My thanks to Robert and Julie who made our stay just perfect!

“Stayed here for 4 nights Mon-Fri with 4 adults & 5 kids aged between 8 & 14. Loads of space everywhere, rooms were huge, all rooms en suite, facilities for kids were amazing including pool table x2, air hockey, fussball, pacman, small sweet shop, badminton/tennis/football court, swings/climbing frame & plenty of open space for ball games. Hot tub was huge & sauna was an added bonus. Dining & seating areas were more than enough & kitchen catered for more than our group easily. Would definitely return”

“Lovely quiet location. Great walk through the deer park for Sunday lunch at the pub on the farside. All facilities on site were available and it felt very COVID safe.”

“We all enjoyed our second stay in The Granary. Our 2 boys love the play barn where they enjoyed football and badminton. Great for days when to can not rely on the weather. There were a few extra things to do to ensure that everyone stays well, such a removing the bed sheets etc. but we felt happy to do this to make sure it was safe for the cleaner, owners and next customers “
